'Athenaeum of Unedited, Superannuated, Incomplete, Unreleased, Intimate Works, 2011-2013', is a collection of solo intimate pieces recorded live, throughout the years 2011 to 2013. The recordings were captured directly from the main front-of-house mixing boards at various shows in Montreal, Berlin, Barcelona and Nottingham. The audio was mixed directly in the live setting, no editing or processing was made after the performances except slight volume adjustments and compression. A deep experience from within the business complex. A compilation beyond the poor commodities of creativity. An hour inside wages, supply & demand. Defective viable functions, yes indeed, paid in instalments. I certify that, the information about me is accurate and complete, and fully discloses all of my income.

Karen Gwyer unfolds through three long and interesting pieces a focused array of old-school synthesizers and psychedelic influences. While the last track Hippie Fracca is much closer to ambient and could remind the soundtrack of a 70's movie taking place in space, the first two patiently build frenetic techno patterns holding an incredible emotional charge, climaxing in You Big when it combines the pump organ drones and the errating vocals.
